**The minimum distance for the South American Airpass is 1200 miles involving
a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 countries **and should not exceed the maximum of 8 coupons.

 
APPLICATION

Economy class one way, round trip, circle trip and open jaw trips for transportation wholly within the area comprised of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru or Uruguay and Venezuela.

Note: This air pass is not permitted if the International segment into South America is on AR, XL or 4M. 

Flights within Brazil must be operated by JJ and or PZ only

   
ELIGIBILITY

Valid only for foreign nationals residing Outside of South America. These passengers must hold tickets for transportation from points outside of South America to points in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

   
RESERVATIONS

All sectors must be confirmed for all travel before departure under booking classes:
International - "W" or "V"
Domestic - "W" or "V"

The classes of reservation will be the same for the entire reservation. 
The Information'TAM SAP' must be noted in the OSI remarks.

 

   
VALIDITY

Minimum stay: 5 days counting from departure of first sector.

Maximum stay: 30 days counting from departure of first sector.

   
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

The baggage allowance for domestic legs covered by the South American Airpass is the same as permitted on the International routes.

In the event of Excess baggae, 1% of full economy class fare for the leg will be charged per extra Kilo

   
STOPOVERS

A maximum of four stopovers are permitted in Brazil and TWO in other countries will be permitted, in addition to the point of origin and the point of destination. 

A stopover occurs when a passenger does not depart an intermediate point within 24 hours. (Exception: If a JJ connection between two domestic flights within Brazil exceeds 4 hours, it will be considered as a stopover)

Surface is not counted as a coupon 

   
DISCOUNTS

Children: NO DISCOUNT APPLIES - they must purchase the adult fare

Infants: NOT OCCUPYING A SEAT, pay 10% of the applicable adult fare

   
ROUTING

Travel must include at least two countries listed in the area of application.

Routings are limited to no more than eight flight coupons and to a maximum of five flight coupons per country.

The same leg may not be flown more than once in the same direction, except for connections

The same city may not be used as an origin and/or destination more than once, except for a connection.

Each segment flown is equal to one coupon. 

   
TAM FIDELIDADE FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAM Legs flown using this Airpass will accumulate 90% of their full points value under the TAM Fidelidade Frequent Flyer Program
   
TICKETING

Valid for ticketing from 27th March 2010 until further notice.

Visit your local bonded Travel Agent or contact Aviation and Tourism International.

The air pass is to be issued on Hahn Air ticket stock only.

The air pass ticket must be a separate ticket and contain a cross reference with the number of the the ticket used for the International air transportation.

Only one South American Airpass may be purchased per passenger in conjunction with the International ticket.

All applicable taxes must be charged when issuing the Airpass.

Tickets are non-endorsable/non transferable.

All sectors must be confirmed prior to tickets being issued. No open dated sectors permitted.

Maximum of eight coupons permitted in total.

Fare Basis: WSA2PAST or VSA2PAST for when international travel is via any interline carrier with a Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreement with TAM (JJ)

TAM SAP/NON END must be indicated in the endorsment box.

 

   
PAYMENT Permitted only outside of South America. PTA is not permitted.
   
AMENDMENTS

Rebooking (date changes) is permitted at USD100.00.

Rerouting is NOT permitted. 

   
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

Prior to departure: Cancellation fee USD100.00 per ticket applies.

After departure: Ticket is non-refundable.
